XAT 2026: Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) of Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur will be held on January 4, 2026. Registration for this will start soon. According to a note released on the official website, admission to the MBA will be available in more than 250 institutes across India through the XAT 2026 score. Candidates applying for XAT 2026 should have a minimum of a three-year undergraduate degree in any subject. Students currently studying in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their final examinations by June 10, 2026. There is no specific minimum percentage requirement for graduation to appear for XAT.

XAT 2026: Exam Pattern
The XAT 2026 exam will be in CBT mode like last year. The total duration of the exam will be three hours and 30 minutes. The exam will have four main sections-

Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning

General Knowledge

All the questions asked in the exam will be of an objective type. Each section is designed to test the analytical, logical, and managerial decision-making ability of the candidates. The first three sections of the paper contribute to the percentage score used in admission. The General Knowledge section is assessed separately. It is often used by institutes like XLRI in the final selection round.

XAT 2026: How to register?

First of all, go to the official website of XAT and register as a user by entering your name, email ID, and mobile number.

After registration, candidates will receive their XAT ID and password on their registered mobile number and email id.

Log in using the credentials to fill the application form. Candidates will be required to provide their educational qualification and work experience details (if applicable), select their preferred exam cities, and upload a recent passport size photograph, signature and valid ID proof.
Pay the XAT registration fee online to complete the application process.
