There is no doubt that is currently one of the modern stars of Pakistan, who is known for his elegant stroke play and great technique. However, he has had his fair share of struggles in white-ball cricket of late, especially in the shortest format in the game. The disappointing campaign in PSL 2025 for the 30-year-old has been a worry not just individually, but for Peshawar Zalmi as well, and it seems like the batter is working on improving the same.
During a recent viral social media video, Babar was seen practicing range hitting during a practice session and playing some big hits. Despite not being in the best of the forms, the sound coming from Babar’s bat is pleasing to the ears as he was middling the ball to perfection in the nets, which should satisfy his fans and the Peshawar-based side. They will also be hoping that he can display the same big hits as he has been during the drills in the nets.

The Babar Azam-led side hasn't been in good touch in the tournament, having lost both their games so far, and toddling at the bottom with a net run-rate of -4.550. Their next clash will be against Multan Sultans, led by wicketkeeper-batter . The situation of Sultans isn't great as well, as they have also lost both their opening games, but due to a slightly better NRR of -1.411, they find themselves a position above the Peshawar-based side.
This upcoming fixture between the two sides will be held at Rawalpindi on Saturday, April 19. A win for either of the sides would mean opening their account on the PSL 2025 Points Table, however, the table is likely to remain unchanged even if Sultans win, whereas, if Babar & Co win, they will move one position up. As a result, the upcoming clash promises to be a mouth-watering one.
