Send Push
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is taking further steps to strengthen parents’ role in their children’s academic and emotional growth. Following the launch of the Parenting Calendar 2025–26 and earlier orientation sessions, CBSE has now announced offline parenting workshops to be held in September 2025 at select affiliated schools.

What is the CBSE Parenting Calendar?

The Parenting Calendar 2025–26 is a structured framework created to help parents actively support their child’s holistic development. Instead of focusing only on academics, it emphasizes:
  • Holistic growth: Covering academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Positive parenting: Encouraging empathy, healthy discipline, and support at home.
  • Digital well-being: Promoting safe and balanced use of technology.
  • Resilience-building: Helping children cope with stress and challenges.
  • By aligning schools and families, the calendar turns parenting into an extension of the learning process.

Why These Workshops Matter

The upcoming sessions are interactive and practice-based, allowing parents to learn and apply effective strategies. Their importance lies in:

  • Practical tools: Moving beyond theory with actionable parenting methods.
  • Collaborative exchange: Teachers, parents, and school leaders will share insights and experiences.
  • Focus on well-being: Addressing emotional health, peer dynamics, and digital challenges.
  • Wider reach: Sessions will be held in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Siliguri, Ludhiana, and Indore, ensuring inclusivity across regions.
Key Objectives
The workshops aim to:
  • Promote adoption of the Parenting Calendar 2025–26.
  • Equip parents to support their children’s academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Encourage positive parenting and digital literacy.
  • Build stronger school–home partnerships to create nurturing ecosystems.
