Delhi NCR Weather Today: Delhi is expected to witness thunderstorms with rainfall from Sunday, continuing till October 7, according to IMD. A fresh western disturbance, along with high moisture from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal, is expected to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms.
The air quality was recorded in the moderate category at 9 am on Sunday, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 151, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data showed.
According to the CPCB, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 to 100 'satisfactory', 101 to 200 'moderate', 201 to 300 'poor', 301 to 400 'very poor', and 401 to 500 'severe'.
Further, the weather department has issued a yellow alert for Monday. Despite the the possibility of heavy rainfall, no severe weather warnings have been issued. Temperatures are expected to remain moderate, ranging between 24°C and 32°C during this period.
Meanwhile, the national capital on Saturday recorded a minimum temperature of 24.3 degrees Celsius, marginally down from Friday's 24.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum, rose slightly to 33 degrees Celsius compared to 32.3 Celsius degrees on the previous day.
During the next week, the sky in Delhi is predicted to be mostly cloudy with intermittent spells of rainfall. Temperatures are likely to hover around 28°C to 30°C during the day, while nights will be comparatively pleasant at around 20°C.
