The transaction, registered in July 2025, wasn’t just a routine real estate move; it’s a striking reminder of the growing economic chasm between celebrity lifestyles and the common man’s reality.

According to property documents reviewed by Square Yards, the apartment is located in Shiv Asthan Heights — a premium residential building in the upscale neighbourhood of Bandra West. The flat spans 122.45 square metres (roughly 1,318 sq ft) and includes three coveted car parking spaces. The transaction attracted a hefty stamp duty of Rs 32.01 lakh, along with Rs 30,000 in registration fees.

While Salman Khan continues to live at his iconic Galaxy Apartments, the recently sold property is situated just 2.2 km away. The star has long maintained a presence in Bandra, which remains the Bollywood capital’s most glamorous zip code.

Bandra: A celebrity hotspot

Salman’s former property lies in the heart of Bandra West — a celebrity hotspot also home to Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan. Industry veterans like Javed Akhtar and Rekha also reside in the vicinity, while Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are soon expected to move into their new Bandra apartment, further solidifying the area’s star-studded reputation.

On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for his next big release — Battle of Galwan, a film inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict between Indian and Chinese troops. The patriotic drama, co-starring Chitrangda Singh, aims to capture the intensity and sacrifice of the real-life standoff.
