Bali secured the top position on the list, followed by Hanoi and Bangkok. Other popular destinations include Hoi An in Vietnam, Siem Reap in Cambodia, Phuket in Thailand and Kathmandu in Nepal.

New Delhi was placed eighth, recognised for its mix of historic monuments, Mughal architecture, and modern urban development. The listing described the capital as “a striking modern metropolis” that contrasts with Old Delhi’s winding streets.
Jaipur took the 12th spot. The “Pink City” was highlighted for landmarks such as City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and the forts of Amber and Jaigarh, as well as its bustling bazaars.
Agra ranked 16th, primarily for the Taj Mahal, which remains one of the most visited monuments globally. The Red Fort and Fatehpur Sikri were also mentioned among the city’s other UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
As per Tripadvisor, fewer than 1% of its eight million listings receive the “Best of the Best” title, which represents the highest level of excellence in travel.
The rankings underline the growing visibility of Indian cities on international travel maps, placing them alongside Asia’s most visited hubs.
