The childhood of Shri Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, was spent in Gokul-Vrindavan. Kanha ji's childhood leelas describe his love for butter. Premanand Ji Maharaj also told about the two most favorite bhogs of Laddu Gopal and advised to offer these two things to please Bal Gopal on Janmashtami. One of these is white butter, which is very dear to Kanhaiya. The second is Malpua made of rice flour. Shri Krishna also likes Malpua very much. In such a situation, on Janmashtami, you can prepare Malpua and butter at home and offer it as Prasad. Let us know the simple method of making white butter and Malpua at home.
How to make butter at home?
If you want to make fresh white butter like Gokul-Vrindavan, then only a few simple ingredients will be needed. To make it, fresh cow's milk, cream, cold water, and a churner are needed.
To make butter, first boil fresh milk and cool it. When the milk cools down, cream will form, which should be taken out and collected. Now put the cream in a vessel and churn it well with a churner. If you are using a mixer, then add some cold water to the cream and stir for two to three minutes. Slowly, the butter and buttermilk will separate. Wash the butter in water so that the milk part comes out of it, and the butter becomes even softer and fresher. This is the best prasad to offer to Bal Gopal on Janmashtami or any special occasion.
Offer Malpua on Janmashtami
To make rice flour Malpua, you will need one cup of rice flour, one cup of lukewarm milk, half a cup of sugar, half a teaspoon of cardamom powder, half a teaspoon of fennel, and ghee for frying. To make syrup, one cup of sugar and half a cup of water are needed.
