Badrinath (Uttarakhand), July 03: In a shocking incident, a video has surfaced on social media in which devotees are seen fighting on the staircase of the Badrinath Temple in Uttarakhand. There are reports that the fight occurred after a dispute over taking photos for social media. The brawl was caught on camera and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. It can be seen in the video that the devotees are engaged in a heated physical fight over the spot to take photos.
The viral video shows that two men are arguing and pushing each other in the temple premises, while the other devotees present on the spot intervene and try to separate them from each other. There are reports that the fight broke out after one person tried to take a photo on the staircase of the temple and the other group tried to stop him. This resulted in a full blown fight between the two.

The two groups did not hesitate to engage in a fight even after being present at one of the holiest places in the country. Neither of them were ready to back down and disturbed the sanctity of the holy and sacred spot. The other pilgrims got uncomfortable due the fight.

The internet users reacted against the viral video.
“Even in God’s house, there is no peace. What kind of people are these?” one user wrote.
Another commented, “Did they come here for darshan or a photoshoot?”
A third sarcastically said, “When Instagram photos become more important than God, this is what happens.”
“These aren’t devotees, they’re social media warriors,” another added.
The video of the incident was shared on the X handle @gharkekalesh where it quickly went viral. The viral video garnered over 35,000 views within few hours after the video hit the internet.
