Palghar, Maharashtra: Valuables worth approximately ₹7.4 lakh, including gold and silver ornaments, cash, and mobile phones, were stolen from a residence in Nalasopara East in a housebreaking incident that occurred early this week. Pelhar Police have registered a case against unidentified culprits.
The incident was reported by Mohammed Rustam Chandali (27), an electrician residing at Jaihind Welfare Society, Santoshbhavan, Nalasopara East. According to his complaint, the theft took place between 11:00 pm on June 22, 2025, and 8:00 am on June 23, 2025.
The complainant stated that an unknown thief broke the sliding window of his room, gained entry into the house, and then broke the lock of the cupboard. The culprits then made off with a significant amount of valuables. The total value of the stolen property is estimated at ₹7,40,000.
