Mumbai: The Water supply situation in Mumbai has enhanced with ongoing monsoon rains raising lake levels throughout the city's reservoirs. According to the most recent figures published by the Hydraulic Engineer’s Department at 6:00 am on Saturday, June 28, 2025, the cumulative water stock in Mumbai's lakes has attained 5,58,350 million litres, which is about 38.5 percent of the necessary 14.47 lakh million litres.
The rise comes after steady rain in catchment regions during recent days. On just Thursday, the Bhandup Complex reported 8 mm of rainfall, bringing the total rainfall for the season there to 459 mm. Most significant reservoirs exhibited either a gradual increase or stable levels along with positive storage growth.

Total storage capacity is 1,447,363 million liters, and the rainfall today measures 5.00 mm, bringing the monthly total to 464.00 mm.
