Amanda Holden has showcased a stunning Greek home that once featured in a popular ITV drama. Nestled on the coastline of Corfu, this villa can accommodate up to 10 guests and is ideal for asummer holiday in Europe.
Posting to her Instagram Story yesterday, Amandarevealed just how much she and her daughter, Hollie, also nicknamed 'HRH', loved the show it featured in. "If you know you know," she wrote on Sunday.
"The Durrells... @ionianestates." The TV star also added: "Me and #HRH were big fans of The Durrells. TV show." Airing from 2016 to 2019, The Durrells was a popular ITV comedy-drama about a British family adjusting to life on the Greek island of Corfu in the 1930s.
It's loosely based on a true story, following Gerald Durrells' Corfu Trilogy, with the ITV series primarily filmed in the village of Danilia. It starred an array of famous faces, including Keeley Hawes as Louisa Durrell.
Earlier this month, luxury holiday estate agent Ionian Estates also revealed several picturesque photographs of the property in an Instagram carousel. Its spokespeople said the home has five bedrooms and a private pool, offering a 'perfect spot to unwind'.
The post read: "Sleeping up to 10 guests and situated right on the seafront, this five-bedroom villa with private pool is the perfect spot to unwind, explore and soak up the laid-back rhythm of Corfu life."

It is currently unclear how much it costs to spend a night at The Durrell property, but Ionian Estates has been approached for further information.
Amanda's post also comes just months after she revealed that her family were selling a £895,000 property on Rightmove. The 'true rural gem' - which is still up for grabs - is situated in Hersham, a hamlet south of Kilkhampton in Cornwall.
The TV star's parents confessed they are giving it up 'begrudgingly' to be nearer family and friends. Commenting on a Rightmove advert, they said it's just a five-minute drive from stunning sandy beaches and go-to spots like Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.
"We are sad to leave this lovely home we have lived in for over 22 years," Amanda's family said, according to the Mirror. "We will miss the early morning bird song and the gorgeous vistas and spectacular sunsets from different viewpoints throughout our gardens.
"We have had many wonderful memories of barbecues in the garden with family and friends. Unfortunately age has caught up with us and begrudgingly we feel the time has come to downsize and be nearer to family.
