One EastEnders star has hinted that a return could be on the cards for a co-star who left the BBC soap in 2018.
A fan favourite character who was killed off seven years ago, off screen might we add, could be set for a comeback according to Kim Fox actress Tameka Empson. While she did not say it was happening, she certainly didn't rule it out.
In fact she teased to The Mirror that fans should "watch this space" when we asked her about the return chances. We spoke exclusively with the actress recently, and we shared the theory from fans that Vincent, played by Richard Blackwood, never really died.
His death and exit were a mystery back in 2018, when his drama with villain Aidan Maguire reached a dark turn. After he turned informant and told the police everything he knew about the gangster, the plan was to head into witness protection but his wife Kim refused.
As Vincent tried to tell the officers waiting for him he was staying, it was revealed they were corrupt and working for Aidan and they drove off with Vincent in the car. A gun was pointed at him, and we never saw what happened next but it was implied he'd been killed.

After theories that he would return alive, a few years later scenes appeared to confirm for once and for all that Vincent had in fact been killed off in 2018. After Kim wrongly believed Vincent was nearby, she bumped into her now-partner Howie Danes who had Vincent's wallet.
Howie was claiming his name was Vince and Kim soon did some digging, while Phil Mitchell told Kim's sister Denise Fox that Aidan had had Vincent killed after all. Howie had been witness to a murder and took the wallet from the scene, leaving Kim distraught as she realised the death was likely Vincent's.
But could the character's death have been faked? Fans have long believed Vincent could return and now Tameka has had her say to us. While nothing has suggested a return is looming, Tameka teased fans should "watch this space".
Asked about Vincent and whether he might return, she told us: "Well where is he? And if he turns up he's got to turn up with something in his hands, cos it's been a long while now.
"We've cared for the children, out of house and everything. Watch this space people." Tameka quite likes the idea of having two characters fighting over Kim too, after Denise's public vote recently.
Fans had to decide whether Denise stayed with husband Jack Branning or moved on with Ravi Gulati. Tameka now hopes a similar twist will work for Kim, possibly with Howie and Vincent.
She shared: "Well Denise had two guys fighting over her so why can't Kim? Let's get a vote going viewers, let's get it going. Let's get the guys fighting for Kim. It'll be nice."
