The Fortnite Peacemaker Emote saga has taken another turn, with the game preparing to bring back Peaceful Hips – but there's a catch.
Fortnite has been churning out content recently, with Fortnitemares 2025 now in full swing especially after players got stuck into the Daft Punk Experience, which turned the concept of musical crossovers in the game on its head. This introduced the K-Pop Demon Hunters in the revamped Demon Rush mode and a host of new Fortnitemares 2025 skins are still to come – keeping players extremely busy.
However, the game has been embroiled in controversy due to an Emote it sold in the Item Shop. The now-removed Fortnite Peacemaker Emote, known as 'Peaceful Hips,' came under scrutiny as the plot of Peacemaker Season 2 took a dramatic turn. In response, Epic Games pulled it from the Item Shop and players' lockers.
It was quite a spectacle as Epic Games questioned Warner Bros' intentions with the Emote, but now we have an update on the fate of the Fortnite Peacemaker Emote.

This represents a reasonable response to the Emote given the path that Peacemaker's storyline has followed, and changes to the Emote have prompted players to request the team incorporate the dance and music from Peacemaker Season 1's opening credits instead.
It would be a superior approach compared to making a straightforward modification to the Emote, which is meant to directly mirror the show's dance routine, and will now be edited in a manner that could compromise that authenticity.
Nevertheless, this controversy won't conclude until the Emote makes its return, so monitor your locker on Thursday, October 9 to discover what choice has been made. Those Peaceful Hips have undoubtedly sparked quite the furore.
