Home cooks are lovingthe Lakeland slow cooker, with one 5 star review saying: "This was a replacement for my old slow cooker which took an age to cook. This little cooker is super light to carry, cooks in less than half the time of my previous one and holds enough stew for me to divide into three meals for myself. Being digital is also a massive bonus. Absolutely love it!"
One buyer said: "The digital aspect puts it in a class of its own! The aluminium inner makes it easier to lift, which is a consideration now I'm getting on a bit".
Others were also impressed with its weight, saying: "I can’t fault this slow cooker, the aluminium insert makes is so much lighter to lift and move about. I’m 75 and my previous slow cooker practically needed a hoist to carry it from the cupboard to a counter top. The heat is evenly distributed and not just lazily bubbling at one side of the pot hoping I wouldn’t notice. My husband does like a beef stew and it cooks in a couple of hours on the ‘high’ setting. There is a delay feature which I probably won’t use, but it could be useful for workers hoping for a nice hot meal when they get home. I fully recommend this product. It’s 5***** from me."
One reviewer said they had noticed a vent in the lid, explaining: "I'm really pleased with this slow cooker, there are so many improvements compared to my old one and it's much more efficient. I had to get used to shorter cooking times as it cooks food in far less time, but it's not a problem as I can use the delay mode if I'm going out. I did notice there is a vent in the lid, which means cooking smells escape, whereas on my old one, you wouldn't know you were cooking until the lid was removed. However, this really isn't an issue, just a difference I'd noticed."
Some shoppers left general feedback about Lakeland on Trustpilot, with one noting: "Been a while since my last visit but enjoyed browsing. Came away with a slow cooker. Sadly couldn’t get the jam pot lids I went in for."
