Where have you seen Tom Hopper before?Tom, 40, has been a staple on UK TV screens for several years but is undoubtedly best recognised for his breakthrough main role as Luther Hargreeves in Netflix hit The Umbrella Academy.
Also known as Number One, Luther used his super-strength - augmented by the body of a gorilla - in multiple world-saving missions with his troubled siblings.
However, he also appeared in a number of iconic, long-running British shows before his Netflix role, beginning with stints in Casualty, Doctors and Kingdom at the start of his career.
He later went on to appear in Matt Smith’s first episode of Doctor Who in 2010 before joining another BBC fantasy hit, Merlin, portraying Sir Percival for three seasons.

Tom then portrayed Billy Bones in the Treasure Island-inspired Starz drama Black Sails and appeared as Dickon Tarly in four episodes of Game of Thrones.
On the big screen, the star has appeared in comedies such as I Feel Pretty, Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard and Space Cadet, and franchise thrillers Terminator: Dark Fate and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.

Tom has been married to fellow British actor Laura Hopper (née Higgins) since 2014, having met five years previously at a party.
They’ve been together ever since and have welcomed two children together, daughter Truly Rose and son Freddie.
She has appeared in a number of the same projects as her husband, most notably portraying the mother of Luther’s brother Klaus (Robert Sheehan) Rachel Herschberger in the second season of The Umbrella Academy.
Laura has also had roles in Doctors, Black Sails and her husband’s starring rom-com Love in the Villa.
Parenting experience
The Hoppers regularly share updates about their family on social media and also have their own YouTube channel, though their last video was posted three years ago.
They have been outspoken about their experience raising son Freddie, who is nonverbal and was diagnosed with autism just before his fifth birthday.
Tom told PEOPLE in 2020: “We thought, we've got to do this for the parents that are going through this so they don't feel alone. Because it can be a very lonely time.
"You have to trust each other and the journey. The right things will happen eventually, but it doesn't happen overnight.
“My son has autism, and he amazes me every day. His brain just works in a different way."
