JoJo Siwa's real reason for dramatic transformation as she stuns fans with brand new look

JoJo Siwa has captivated her fans with her changing looks in recent weeks with her embracing a whole different, grown up image. The Dance Moms star, 22, has been keep to update her 11.3million followers on the changes in her life, which appears to include a whole new wardrobe.

She had been known for her rhinestone jewelled looks, dramatic make-up and huge bows for years, but has shed the youthful persona for something entirely different. It seems JoJo has found a new confidence since dating Love Island's Chris Hughes after they met in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Her Instagram feed is now littered with stunning snaps in full glam, which could rival any Love Island or TOWIE star. JoJo's dramatic change was evident as she attended her Dance Moms co-star's wedding in Italy this weekend.

She looked sensational in a gorgeous golden mini dress, a corset number and even shared bikini snaps. While her new look maybe a surprise to fans, it seems it could have been obvious all along.

Sex and relationship coach Gemma Nice explained: “Sometimes in a new relationship, you find something out about yourself that you may not have really experienced in the past and this is the same for JoJo."

“She’s been a childhood star from the age of nine and she’s grown up in the media. This is now her saying to the public - and to Chris - that she is a grown-up and wants to be portrayed as more of an adult," she told the Sun.

Gemma explained that JoJo is "shedding her childish looks" and is "creating a new identity". Expert Jacob Lucas also told the publication JoJo's image could be Chris rubbing off on her.

He believes the Love Island star is "boosting her self esteem and confidence." Chris even spoke of JoJo's wardrobe as he insisted he has no intentions of changing her.

He told them: “The person I grew to love was the person she is now. I would never want to change her. If she wants to change her style, that’s on her. People say, ‘You need to grow out of the glitter and rhinestones.’ But I love the rhinestones."

The couple are clearly head over heels as they have already talked openly about marriage and children. JoJo had announced she was pansexual when she was a teenager and has since said that she then "boxed" herself in by identifying as a lesbian.

She has since described herself as queer. However, the singer has sadly said that she's received an "extreme amount of hate" from "within the community" over the relationship with Chris, adding that people now believe that she is straight.

Speaking on SiriusXM's Smith Sisters Live, JoJo said: "Just because I'm in a hetero relationship does not mean I'm straight. And okay, just say all of a sudden I said 'yeah, I'm straight'. Awesome. Beautiful. I'm still an ally then."

JoJo went on to say: "I'm not straight. I mean, I'm in love with a man." Before referencing previous relationships, she said in the discussion on the show: "But my past doesn't get to be discredited though because of that."
