Amad will miss Manchester United's Premier League trip to Brentford tomorrow because of a close family bereavement. The winger has been given compassionate leave by United boss Ruben Amorim, who has given Amad as much time as he needs to deal with the loss.
The Ivory Coast international has remained in the UK while he processes the loss, with United sources unsure how much time the 23-year-old will need away before he returns to the squad.
"Licha [Lisandro Martinez} is out. Casemiro is out because of the red card. Amad is not here because someone in his family passed away. We are giving all the support to Amad and understood he needed to return home," he said.

Amad has started United's last four Premier League games and played as a wing-back and in a more advanced role, as he did in last weekend's 2-1 win over Chelsea at Old Trafford.
The enforced absence of Amad means Diogo Dalot, who missed United's last two games through injury, is likely to come back into the side at right wing-back,
The Portugal international returned to training on Thursday but Noussair Mazraoui has been ruled out.
"He [Mazraoui] is out also. He will not be back until the international break," Amorim revealed.
Further forward, Matheus Cunha, on what will be his first start since a hamstring injury, is expected to operate alongside Bryan Mbeumo as one of the advanced attackers behind Benjamin Sesko.
For Mbeumo, he will be returning to the club where he spent a number of years with Amorim issuing a glowing verdict on the Cameroon international.
"It's really important for everything he has been doing," the United boss said. "The light he brings to the dressing room. He is not the guy who talks, but he is always there to help us. He runs a lot, presses a lot, he is a different threat to last season. I'm more than happy with Bryan."
In terms of other decisions facing Amorim, Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo look to be competing for a spot alongside Bruno Fernandes with Casemiro unavailable.
