The Handmaid's Tale star, Yvonne Strahovski, has officially bagged her next role in a critically acclaimed Apple TV+ drama featuring a Hollywood comedy legend.
The Florida-based crime romp, Bad Monkey, received rave reviews upon its debut on the streaming platform last year and was swiftly renewed for a second series.
It features Vince Vaughn as a down-and-out former detective, Andrew Yancy, who's thrust into an odd mystery when a tourist stumbles upon a severed arm.

Based on the bestselling novel by Carl Hiaasen and also starring Michelle Monaghan, Natalie Martinez and Rob Delaney, this sun-drenched mystery was a hit with viewers, scoring an impressive 93 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
Season two was confirmed in December last year and will follow a new original story, with Vaughn reprising his role as Yancy, reports the Express.
While plot details remain secret, it's confirmed that Strahovski, 43, will be playing the County State Attorney, Delaney.
She'll be joining the previously announced John Malkovich, who will be portraying a character named Spencer, while season one guest star John Ortiz has been promoted to a regular role this time around.
Strahovski is best known to telly fans for her portrayal of the cruel Serena Joy Waterford opposite Elisabeth Moss in Hulu's hit dystopian drama, The Handmaid's Tale.
The Aussie star marked her latest gig by posting Deadline's article about the announcement on her Instagram. She didn't comment on the news but cheekily added a monkey emoji in reference to the series.

Her fans are already buzzing with anticipation to see her tackle what could be another demanding role for the twice Emmy-nominated actress.
"Awesome, looking forward to watching!" one fan responded.
Another quipped: "Well, damn-guess I've got no choice now but to sign up for Apple TV.
"Totally worth it, though-can't wait to see @YvonneStrahovski in a comedy role. You're a marvelous actress, and this is going to be a treat!"
A third chimed in: "Woohoo! I am shocked you never won for Serena.. your acting was brilliant. Looking forward to Bad Monkey."
Reportedly, filming for the second series is due to kick off this autumn, with production shifting from Florida to Los Angeles.
Bad Monkey is available to stream on Apple TV+. The Handmaid's Tale is available to stream on Prime Video and Channel 4.
