The Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra, led by Bageshwar Baba and initiated by Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, began on November 7 from Katyayani Temple in Delhi’s Chhatarpur area. This 10-day journey covers 170 km and will conclude at Shri Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan.
As of November 11, the padyatra has reached its fifth stop at Palwal Sugar Mills, where it paused for lunch before continuing to Mitraul for an overnight stay. The yatra will enter Mathura district on November 13 and is expected to conclude at Vrindavan’s Chardham on November 16. Vehicular movement on the Mathura-Delhi highway will be restricted from the night of November 12 to 16 to accommodate the event.
The padyatra has garnered widespread support from various communities, with many celebrities participating. The sixth stop will be at Vanchari (JBM) for a lunch break on November 12, followed by an overnight stop at Hodal Mandi. Security arrangements are tight in Mathura, anticipating lakhs of participants when the padyatra arrives.
