Rescue and relief work is going on after the accident, the injured have also been sent to the hospital. Regarding the accident that happened after the stampede , one of the injured said that "suddenly a huge crowd gathered there and a stampede occurred."
Regarding this accident, Garhwal Divisional Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey said that 6 people died in a stampede after a huge crowd gathered at the Mansa Devi temple in Haridwar. I am leaving for the spot, a detailed report of the incident is awaited.

3. Vicky son of Rikka Ram Saini, age 18 years, Village Vilaspur, Police Station - Vilaspur, Camry Road, Nagliya Kala, Mazra, Rampur, Uttar Pradesh
4. Vipin Saini son of Raghuveer Singh Saini, age 18 years, resident of Vasuwakheri Kashipur Uttarakhand
5. Advocate son of Bharat Singh resident of Mehatalvad, District Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh
6. Shanti Pani is at the mercy of God Badaun Uttar Pradesh
Reached the spot and rescued about 33 people- SSP Pramod Singh Doval
On the stampede incident in Haridwar, SSP Pramod Singh Doval said, "We received news of some people being injured, after which the police took immediate action. About 35 people were brought to the hospital and the death of 6 has been confirmed. The rest are undergoing treatment. Prima facie, the stampede occurred due to the rumour of an electric shock on the stairs 100 meters below the temple road. We are investigating further."

On this accident, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami posted on Instagram and wrote - " Very sad news has been received about the stampede on the Mansa Devi temple road in Haridwar . SDRF Uttarakhand Police , local police and other rescue teams have reached the spot and are engaged in relief and rescue operations. I am constantly in touch with the local administration in this regard and the situation is being constantly monitored . I pray to Mata Rani for the safety of all the devotees. "
