Arsenal will be hoping for two favours from Chelsea as they look to take the next few steps in their summer transfer window plan. The Gunners have already splashed the cash on two new signings, and they are in the market for further acquisitions.
Following Neto's return to Bournemouth, Arsenal swooped to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga for £5million to provide competition for David Raya. The Gunners then secured the signature of Martin Zubimendi to replace Thomas Partey. Christian Norgaard is also expected to be announced as an Arsenal player this week.
Arsenal are now turning their attention to attacking reinforcements, and they have shortlisted several options. They remain locked in negotiations with Sporting over a deal for Viktor Gyokeres, and they are eyeing up an English duo to inject some creativity into their ranks.
However, Chelsea could play a key role in their business. The Gunners are hoping to strike a deal with their London rivals for Noni Madueke having already agreed on personal terms with the winger.

The Blues are set to demand in excess of £50million for the former PSV star, leaning on Nottingham Forest's £55m sale of Anthony Elanga to Newcastle to indicate what they believe is a fair fee in today's market.
Arsenal will be aware of such figures, but Arteta's side will be hoping not to be priced out of any move by their rivals. Madueke is viewed as the ideal acquisition to provide cover for Bukayo Saka and also compete for a starting spot on the left, and if they can sign him for a reasonable fee then it would allow them to make other moves in the market.
One of their other targets is Eberechi Eze, who has a £68million release clause in his contract with Crystal Palace. Arsenal are preparing an offer with more favourable payment terms for the midfielder, and, again, they may need a helping hand from Chelsea to help them get a deal over the line.
According to The Times, Bayern Munich are looking at both Eze and Christopher Nkunku as potential targets following a serious injury sustained by Jamal Musiala at the Club World Cup. They have signed Michael Olise from Palace previously and would have the finances to strike a deal.
However, Chelsea are actively looking to offload Nkunku and if they are open to discussing a cut-price deal with Bayern for the Frenchman then it could divert their attention away from Eze - giving Arsenal a free run at one of their top targets.
