Eurovision viewers were left questioning whether a stage invader was "part of the act" during tonight's live semi-final (May 13).
Estonian rapper Tommy Cash was in the middle of performing his divisive song Espresso Macchiato when a woman wearing jeans a white t-shirt that read 'I love Tommy Cash' burst onto the stage and ran towards the artist.
While initially held back by the dancing security guards on stage, she was then beckoned forward by Cash and jumped into his arms. He carried her around the stage while still singing, before placing her down.
The woman kept touching Cash before he nodded at her, seemingly to check whether she was ok. They then performed an in-sync dance routine, signalling to viewers the alleged security breach was actually a part of the performance.
However, some of those tuning in were unsure as to whether the incident was staged or if it was real.

"The stage invader got me," admitted one viewer, while another questioned: "Huh, what was that fan going on stage part of the act?"
Cash is considered to have one of the contest's most controversial songs this year. The singer's faux and exaggerated Italian accent and lyrics that poke fun at Italy's culture has drawn criticism, particulary from Italians.
Senator Marco Centinaoi and radio host Caterina Balivo have both spoken out against the track, with the former even calling for it to be banned entirely from the competition.
Cash has also been accused of "mocking Eurovision", with the star recalling an interaction with a fan of the contest.
"She told me that half of the fanbase loved me and the other half couldn't stomach me, because they feel I'm mocking Eurovision and just treating it as some big joke," he told the .
"That's just not entirely true. If this were all some big joke for me, I wouldn't be putting all this work into it. I'd just stand at the back of the stage, drink coffee, and wait for the lights to come back on."
The Eurovision Song Contest Semi-Finals continue on Thursday night at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
