Avatar Fire And Ash won't be premiering until later this year but the newly released trailer has already got fans "hyped".
Director James Cameron is back in the driving seat again with the third film in the unforgettable action sci-fi franchise Avatar returning to the big screen.
Avatar Fire And Ash will once again revolve around Jake (played by Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), this time following their family as they grapple with grief after the loss of Neteyam (Jamie Flatters).
They also come into contact with the aggressive Na'vi tribe, also known as the Ash People, led by the fiery Varang (Oona Chaplin), with a conflict on Pandora escalating.
Fans have now been treated to the first trailer for Avatar Fire and Ash, teasing what's to come.
From the stunning scenery of Pandora to the Na'vi riding the skies on the Mountain Banshees, the trailer once again explores the mystical world that's been missing from the big screens for the past three years.
It also reveals the Ash People's leader Varang, played by Game of Thrones' Oona Chaplin, wearing a larger than life red headdress and leading her tribe into battle.
Viewers have since taken to social media to express their excitement at the trailer's release.
Someone wrote: "Every frame in Avatar : Fire and Ash looks like a painting, these shots are insane, serving pure visual feast. Cinema is back."
Another agreed: I don't know how someone can watch that Fire & Ash trailer and not be invested. Incredible visuals and storytelling. James Cameron."

A third labelled it as the "most hyped film of the year", as a fellow fan posted: "Avatar: Fire and Ash looks incredible. I know the haters will probably find this, but it's such an incredible thing to witness these movies on the big screen. I can't wait to see this saga unfold."
Hinting at what fans can expect from the next chapter, Cameron commented at the D23 Expo: "You'll see a lot more Pandora that you never saw before.
"It's an insane adventure and a feast for the eyes, but it's also got very high emotional stakes, more than ever before. We're going into really challenging territory for all the characters you know and love."
Avatar Fire And Ash premieres on Friday, December 19, in cinemas.
