Drivers faced long delays on the M3 on Friday morning after a large amount of slate was scattered across the carriageway near Bagshot. Several lanes had to be closed while clean-up crews worked to clear the debris. National Highways later confirmed that all four lanes reopened just before 12noon.
In a statement on X, they said: "All lanes are now OPEN on the #M3 westbound between J2 (#M25) and J3 #Bagshot. Thank you for your patience."
