M25 traffic LIVE: Huge 5-mile queues and lane closure on major UK motorway after crash

There are huge delays on the M25 today (Thurs) following a crash. Traffic is queueing for five miles and one lane is closed on the M25 clockwise before Junction 27. National Highways warned of "long delays" in the area with a breakdown also reported near the incident.

A statment from National Highways said: "Long delays, queueing traffic for five miles and one lane closed due to accident on M25 clockwise before J27, M11.

"Congestion to J25 A10 (Enfield), plus a breakdown in lane one in the queues near the accident. Originally stopped for nearly half an hour before the Bell Common Tunnel until just after 12 noon, and now another accident in exactly the same place, in lane four."
