Manchester United are aiming to do further business in the transfer market this summer after landing Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. The Red Devils have enjoyed a strong pre-season campaign and were crowned Premier League Summer Series champions in the USA over the weekend.
United boss Ruben Amorim will be desperate for a better campaign this time around after struggling in his maiden season in England. The north west giants could only muster a 15th-place Premier League finish and lost in the Europa League final last term. But things are looking up at the club, with Mbeumo making his long-awaited debut yesterday as United's 2-2 draw with Everton in Atlanta was enough for them to finish above the Toffees, West Ham and Bournemouth as they clinched silverware. But Bruno Fernandes labelled some of his team-mates as "lazy" after the match as he told United chiefs they need to bring in more players before the transfer window slams shut.
