Amazon Prime subscribers can watch a mystery drama that has been hailed "Agatha Christie worthy" free on Prime Video. The British murder mystery release - which combines comedy and drama - is set in the quaint village of Wildemarsh, where protagonist Matilda Stone reunites with her three aunts, who are all crime writers.
That programme is Queens of Mystery. Using their extensive crime writing knowledge, the three sisters and their niece solve complex whodunnits around the picturesque English village. Each mystery lasts two episodes, with six stories being told over the two seasons released by Acorn TV.
The "incredible" series starred Olivia Vinall as main character Matilda for series one, before the role was taken over by Florence Hall in series two. It also stars Martin Trenaman, Julie Graham and Sarah Woodward.
With a rating of 7.3 out of 10 stars on IMDb, reviewers have called the series a "masterpiece", with one review praising it: "I love this show! From the very first episode to the last of season 2 which I just finished, I've been hooked."
Another echoed: "A fun show, comic bookish and still Agatha Christie worthy. I have just watched three episodes and find all the characters entertaining in very strange ways. I see that season three is on the fence. Well I certainly hope it gets renewed."

Somebody else wrote: "I absolutely love this show! I've been hooked since the first episode. Matilda Stone and her aunts (Jane, Beth, and Cat) are all equally smart and resourceful. It's comedic watching Matilda's loving aunts doing their own detecting to help their niece crack her cases and working to keep the truth of Matilda's personal mystery just that. A mystery. I love every character and I need more Queens of Mystery!"
A fourth review said: "This is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Intriguing, suspenseful and beautifully constructed, it also offers carefully placed comedy."
