Prince Harry has confessed to how he felt "miserable" after watching his then-girlfriend, Meghan Markle, in a steamy 'sex scene' on the US TV show, Suits. Harry described how awful he felt witnessing the moment in his bombshell memoir, Spare, released in January 2023, which later became a best-seller.
Meghan, 43, played the role of paralegal, Rachel Zane in the American legal drama from 2011 to 2018 and was the love interest of the character Mike Ross, played by Patrick J Adams. Harry revealed one scene from season two left him feeling like he needed "electric shock" therapy to erase it from his memory.
He wrote: "I'd witnessed her [Meghan] and a castmate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room."
Conveying his thoughts about her actions, he added: "I didn't need to see such things live."
Back in a 2015 interview with Yahoo, Meghan was quizzed about what it felt like to portray "the most kickass lawyer" alongside a cast of attractive actors.
When pressed on whether it was challenging to work amidst all that "hotness", Meghan said: "I mean, how do you even answer that? No. Absolutely not. It's one of the job perks, right?"
In the UK Spare sold 467,183 print copies in its first week to become the fastest-selling non-fiction book since Nielsen BookScan records began and took the Official Top 50 number one spot, outstripping its nearest rival by more than a quarter of a million copies.
Prince Harry will see Meghan Markle hit the big screen once again as she appears in a cameo for the upcoming Amazon MGM comedy Close Personal Friends.
The film, about a couple who befriend a famous pair during a trip to Santa Barbara, marks a comeback for Meghan, who lives nearby in Montecito with Prince Harry and their two children.
The movie stars Brie Larson, Lily Collins, Jack Quaid, and Henry Golding.
The role marks Meghan's first return to acting since royal life. She left her role on Suits eight years ago, after announcing her engagement.
