Ben Nevis was formerly a volcano that erupted and collapsed inward, which then led to the creation of the largest mountain in Scotland. If you enjoy an intense hike at the weekend, then Ben Nevis could be the move for your next adventure.
At the foot of the mountain, you will find the Ben Nevis Distillery, which is home to single malt whiskies and a reward after a long hike. But pack warm clothes, as the temperature at the top of the mountain is often very cold.
The Albanian coast also got a shout out on the best unique places to visit in Europe list. It is an underrated and not at all heavily touristed location that has stunning beaches, beautiful mountain views and quaint little towns to visit while taking a roadtrip along the coast.
