Zarah Sultana's 'fascists' tirade sums up a Left that simply doesn't get Britain

Once again, Zarah Sultana has shown herself to be the very embodiment of a Left that just doesn't get Britain. In her latest tirade, the MP for Coventry South called on her supporters to "fight fascists on the streets." It sounds dramatic, righteous even - until you consider that her bar for fascism seems to be much lower than that of most people. This was clear from her bizarre diatribe in which she managed to associate "fascist mobilisation" with "sections of the media" and "Nigel Farage".

So it isn't clear that when Sultana says "fascists" she is talking about neo-Nazis or violent extremists. Brits could be more than forgiven for thinking that she's talking about ordinary people who might plan to vote for Reform UK, or the party I represent, Advance UK. These are the type of people who dare to raise the Union Jacks, who believes in Britain's culture, want to preserve its identity and expects its laws to be upheld.

And so often on the Left, the proud citizen marching to celebrate national heritage and the concerned parent protesting outside a migrant hotel in their own community are wrongly labelled far-right or fascist.

This is the modern Left's game: smear, demonise, and divide. If you love your country, you are "dangerous." If you question uncontrolled immigration, you are "racist."

Sultana's words come at a time when political violence is no longer theoretical. Across the Atlantic, the shocking assassination of conservative speaker Charlie Kirk has reminded us what happens when rhetoric like this goes unchecked.

To stir such hatred, to encourage "street fighting" in the wake of real political bloodshed, is not only irresponsible - it's contemptible, even with her limp "when necessary" qualifier.

Sultana's outburst needs to be seen in the context of a broader pattern on the radical Left: a deep, seething contempt for Britain itself. These people cannot stand our traditions, our patriotism, or even our flag.

They sneer at our history, rewrite our identity, and treat national pride as a disease to be cured. And yet it seems some sit in Parliament, paid by the very taxpayers they so despise, using their platform to pit Briton against Briton.

Even within Sultana's own camp, the rot is spreading. She can't even maintain harmony with the remnants of her ideological allies - her public falling out with Jeremy Corbyn exposes what happens when a movement built on resentment turns inward.

The Hard-Left eats itself because it has nothing to build upon, only things to destroy. Zarah Sultana's politics are not about justice or equality. They are about power - the power to shame, to silence, and to rewrite what it means to be British.

This isn't the behaviour of a politician who wants debate, but of one who demands submission. She doesn't ecnourage understanding, but obedience to her ideology. Britain must reject this venom.

We are a tolerant, proud, and decent nation. We believe in free speech, in debate, in democracy - not mobs on the street deciding who is "pure" enough to hold an opinion.

We do not need lectures on morality from politicians who seem to loathe the very country they serve. Zarah Sultana's words reveal what she truly is: not a unifier, not a progressive, but a divider - a politician so warped that she cannot see the damage she does to the very fabric of our society.

Her politics of resentment belong not in Westminster, but in the dustbin of history. If this country is to heal, it will not be through her brand of poisonous division. It will be through courage - the courage to stand up proudly for this nation, for our flag, for our people, and for our future.
