
Sky has introduced a new deal for households who need it all when it comes to TV and broadband - a bundle that covers all angles of entertainment. The broadband bundle has dropped in price It comes with Sky Ultimate TV, a Sky TV package that includes everything in the base Essential TV package, plus additional premium channels and a Netflix subscription.
It provides access to including Sky Atlantic, Sky Max, Sky Witness, National Geographic, Discovery, and MTV, as well as access to Netflix Standard with Ads. The package also includes a Sky Stream box for TV connection, delivered over broadband without a satellite dish.
On top of that, bill payers can get included with the bundle, meaning users have no issues streaming Netflix and all the shows they want to watch.
When compared to Virgin Media, it has its Bigger Combo bundle which is slightly cheaper. However, not all households can get Virgin Media on their postcode, so shoppers might find the Sky bundle more appealing. Another downside to the Sky deal compared to Virgin is contract length, as the rival offers a slightly shorter 18-month contract as opposed to 24 months.
All these services can the brand's latest gadget that delivers TV and streaming services via WiFi instead of a traditional satellite dish. When it comes to reviews, there have been some glowing and not-so-glowing reviews on Sky.
Many Sky customers have shared their positive experiences of the brand on Trustpilot, where one review said: "Sky Stream is a game changer. Switched a few weeks back and it's the best decision I've ever made. Installation takes care of itself, the remote even auto tunes itself to the TV. The best part is the ability to have a single charge for all your streaming subscriptions."
However, this less-impressed customer said: "I wasn't happy with the service provided by Sky, phoned up to change my deal and was passed around like a parcel. Eventually, I got to speak to someone who knew what they were doing. I am happy my issue was finally resolved but took a lot of work."
Another consumer said: "I've been with lots of companies to get my TV and internet but the best service I have received out of them all is Sky. We did change to other companies because of the price but always go back to Sky.
As many consumers face added 2025 bill hikes since April inflation, broadband providers are offering as much as £300 for customers who switch. This isn't always offered on TV and broadband combos, but broadband only instead. However, EE's 'get up to £300 back' stands out from the crowd.
As the site states: "Not only is switching easy, but if you leave your existing provider early, we'll give you towards any leaving charges." One ongoing deal at is its 'pay nothing for three months', which is available on the EE One and Unlimited data bundle from £11.50 per month.
