His rich experience includes senior roles in Contracts & Materials, Mechanical Maintenance, Operations Services, Fuel Management, Environment Management, and Safety — all key functions in ensuring NTPC’s sustained performance and growth.
A Proven Track Record Across NTPC LocationsShri Takhele’s tenure with NTPC has seen him serve at multiple strategic sites including Singrauli, Western Region-I Headquarters (WR-I HQ), Kanti, Farakka, and the Corporate Centre – EOC (Engineering Office Complex). At each location, he has been instrumental in driving efficiency, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
In his current capacity, Santosh Kumar Takhele is serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ratnagiri Gas and Power Pvt. Ltd. (RGPPL) — a position he will continue to hold concurrently with his new assignment as Regional Executive Director (West-I).
