Mazher Sayyed, who is currently seen in Rajan Shahi's Anupamaa, says a typical day on the set of the show is fun and joyful, thanks to his co-actors, the entire unit, and the directors.
"There’s a lot of positive energy and camaraderie. What drives me every day is pure passion — a passion that’s been alive since I started working, and I hope it stays with me till the day I die," he added.
He agrees that having like-minded people helps in enhancing the performance. He said, "As an actor, you feel more relaxed. You understand each other better and don’t have to constantly figure things out."
"That said, working with people who think differently is also important. They challenge you and bring out your best, keeping you on your toes. It’s been a fun and fulfilling ride so far," he added.
Mazher also shared that sharing good chemistry with the co-stars gives an actor the freedom to explore boundaries during scenes. He added, "Offscreen bonding helps too; it makes things lighter, the atmosphere more comfortable, and the day passes by smoothly. It doesn’t feel like you’re working under pressure."
He also expressed that having clear communication from a production house makes a huge difference. Thanking Director's Kut Productions, he said, "It helps you understand how the story is evolving and where your craft fits into it. You feel like everyone is working toward the same goal, and no one is holding you back."
"The production house is very friendly. I’ve known DKP for ages, and Rajan ji has created such a grounded, respectful environment. He treats everyone like a friend, and that positivity translates into our performances," Mazher ended.
