As per TSN, Brad Marchand spoke highly about his former Boston Bruins’ teammate, Brandon Carlo but also jokingly called him a “scumbag”.

Brad Marchand said, "You got a scumbag? No, I love Brand. He's one of the best buddies on the team there. And they got an incredible teammate in the room.”

Brad Marchand added, “Great locker room guy, great competitor. He's one of the best defensemen at killing. Plays one of the best six in the league and just a steady, steady guy that can log a ton of minutes.”

But it seems like Brad Marchand’s words for Brandon Carlo have sparked a debate. Many fans have not appreciated Brad Marchand calling him a “scumbag”.

A fan wrote, “Is that the only word in his dictionary?”, while another fan posted, “Takes a scumbag to know a scumbag”.

However, other fans have found the bond between the two pretty entertaining. A fan posted, “🤣😂 I miss their pre-game hallway fun, with Carlo catching Brad as Charlie knocked him down. Trading the two of them was trading the fun out of the team.”

Another fan wrote, “God I miss them 😂”, while a third fan wrote, “Classic Marchand! Always knows how to keep things entertaining in the NHL.”

While the Florida Panthers have entered the playoffs, they had consistently lost in the last five matches, in a row. Their recent win against the Toronto Maple Leafs is their first win in April.

The last time the Florida Panthers had won was when they defeated the Utah Hockey Club on 29th March.

While the Florida Panthers’ performance had dipped in the middle, fans are hoping for a successful season like last year.
