Fellow rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who’s competing alongside Sanders, didn’t shy away from the challenge, “I love it. It’s competition. It’s making all of us better,” he said, signaling a team-first mentality despite the spotlight on Sanders.

Coaches, however, seem impressed. Head coach Kevin Stefanski praised the young quarterback’s maturity and background, saying, “Very, very impressive young man. You can tell he was raised the right way.”

The staff has highlighted Sanders’ poise and ability to stay composed under pressure traits essential for any NFL quarterback .
