NEW DELHI: After the Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj, get ready for the Startup Mahakumbh in Delhi. The world’s biggest event of innovation and entrepreneurship will convene and feature 3,000+ startups , 1,000+ investors and incubators, 10,000+ delegates from 50+ countries at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi, for three days from Thursday to Saturday, creating an unparalleled platform to shape the future of India’s entrepreneurial landscape.
The event is also set to host top 30 game-changing space startups in its business-to-business, precision manufacturing, defence and space tech, and these firms will prominently display India's ascent as a global leader in deep tech innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) pavilion will serve as an open platform for participating startups to engage with select govt buyers and explore market-fit opportunities for their innovative products and services. Visitors can also interact with GeMAI, a virtual chatbot providing an immersive experience on the GeM portal. MoS commerce Jitin Prasada will deliver a special address during the inaugural event.
During this year's edition, tribal entrepreneurs are also set to take the stage with participation from 45+ startups, including those incubated at IIM-Calcutta, IIM-Kashipur and IIT-Bhilai.
Archana Jahagirdar, founder and managing partner at Rukam Capital and Startup Mahakumbh organising committee member, applauded govt efforts, saying, “The support from the Govt has been instrumental towards propelling the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, and we hope to play an integral role by organising the 'World's Biggest Showcase of Innovation' — Startup Mahakumbh.”
